Surgery Went Well and Hiatus

Moochdocking
Rocky Mount, NC

Just a short update on Gin's mom, Judy.  She had surgery early Thursday morning for an abdominal aortic aneurism at Wake Medical Center and made it back home at 7:30pm Friday.  All went well but the next few days are going to be tough on Judy.  Gin and I parked Wanda in their yard on Monday and have been house sitting and dog sitting while her folks were at the hospital.  It looks like their new house will be ready next week so we may stay around to help them move a few things over.

I'm planning to take a blogging hiatus for a month or so.  If anything exciting happens (house sells, win the lottery, etc), I'll have a little more emotion in my posts.  Right now, my heart just isn't in it.  We need to get on the road.  I will still be reading quite a few blogs and adding an occasional comment or two though.

Thanks for dropping by, and enjoy each day of your life's journey by finding beauty in the ordinary.

Post when you feel like it! My fingers are crossed for a sale on your house. I know it is hard waiting. Remember it only takes one buyer. The right one!

Glad Gin's mom is doing okay, amazing how fast she came home from the hospital. Now to take it easy and get back on her feet. It's nice that you both are there to help.

I understand how hard it is to blog a lot. So we'll look forward to the news that you've won the lottery...

Glad to hear Gin's Mom is home and the surgery went well. It just amazes me what is done as outpatient surgery?!?! I am sure she is glad you two are there to help them out and see that she recoups properly.

We will miss your blog, but do understand how your feel. However, be sure and leave a comment or write occassionally so we know all is well with you two!!

We are trying real hard to find one new things to explore each week on my day off to keep from going crazy playing the house sale waiting game ;o(( Really, Really, Really hate this game!!!

Take care you two and don't be gone from blogville for too long!

So glad Judy's surgery went well. I'm sure she'll appreciate the help both this week and with the move.

I totally understand your frustration with the blogging and nothing to report. We'll be glad to give you a much deserved break :) Just stay positive though and before you know it, you'll be reporting something new and exciting :)

Take care. December is right around the corner :)

Glad to hear the good news about Gin's mom. Give her a hug for me. I wish her the speediest of recoveries and joy in her new house.

It's just not fair that your place isn't selling. I'm still seeing your blog with a SOLD sign on it and will really miss hearing what you are up to even if it's only playing canasta and going to the grocery.

Maybe just once a week? I'll worry. That could force me into calling you! :-))))))

Once you get the folks settled, want to take a road trip to Virginia????? We can fit Wanda in the barnyard. You have 67 days 19 hours 41 minutes and 57 seconds to get here.

(((HUGS)))

So glad that the surgery went well. A wise woman once told me "make sure blogging doesn't turn into a j-o-b". It shouldn't be stressful so take your break but know that we will miss your updates! Maybe you need to think more about burying a George upside down in your front lawn! Think that will bring better luck?! lol

We're glad the surgery went well for Gin's mom and hope she has a speedy recovery.

We continue to pray that your house sells soon. Hang in there. It'll happen. Here's hoping that your hiatus will be short and the title of your next blog entry will be "SOLD!!"
