Relisted and Repairs

RV Resort (site #P37)
Roanoke Rapids, NC

Well the house is back on the market.  The prospective buyers are having some major medical issues right now so we certainly don’t blame them for stepping back and taking things one step at a time.  My understanding is that she had a second surgery and may not really be out of the woods yet.  They’ve experienced a life changing episode to say the least.

We’ve been staying busy here during the past week with family time and more doctor’s appointments.  No problems here, just checking things out.  Last week when we were repacking the basement, we noticed that one of the slide topper awnings was not rolling in at all.  The material was just billowing out with no tension.  I knew we would not be able to hit the road again with it like that.  Luckily there is a mobile rv tech that services this park.  I gave him a call to see if he could fix this for us under warranty.  After I called Winnebago to check with them, he came out this morning to make the repair.

He took the protective wrap off, cleaned out a lot of leaves, coaxed the center bracket back into the right place, and replaced the wraps.  That seems to have fixed it.  There are some holes in the material where it was rubbing against the bracket but I can go to a Winnebago dealer to have that replaced while it’s under warranty.  After paying Rufus, I sent the invoice to Winnebago for them to reimburse me.  We’ll see how it goes.

We are enjoying some great weather here for this time of year so hopefully, we can go on a hike or a paddle or something.  We like relaxing too. Smile

Thanks for dropping by, and enjoy each day of your life’s journey by finding beauty in the ordinary.

Almost called you today but didn't want to be a pest! Glad to hear the dermo went well.

Sorry about the house but they apparently weren't the right buyers and now that it's back on the market, the right buyers with CASH can come along quickly.

It's certainly a sad thing that this has happened to your buyers and you, too. This is a very good time to have a home listed, though. Hope it will be listed a very short time :)

So sorry to hear that the prospective buyer is continuing to battle a medical issue. The nice weather should stir up some traffic, and hopefully another buyer will come along soon so you two can get off this roller coaster.

Hope things improve for the prospecitvie buyer. A difficult reminder of how fragile life can be.

So glad you have relisted and will have the house available during 'Prime Time!!'

We'll be interested in how you make out with the Winnebago Warranty work. Now, we really don't expect to need it, but it will be nice to know;o)))

We're so sorry to hear this. Selling the house is a roller coaster ride without the issues you have had! Fingers and toes crossed for another buyer soon!

Home sales seem to be picking up so hopefully you can be rolling before too long. Enjoy that great NC weather!

Sorry to hear that the deal fell through and you had to re-list the property, but at least this will be the springtime buying season.

We're pulling for you that the real buyers will pop in soon and love the house as much as you did.

We've had great luck with Winnebago warranties, we've are our second Winnie product and they've taken good care us, even took care of an issue outside of the warrenty window. That's why we're Winnie fans.
