Clayton, NC
Just a quick post to say we made it back to the house Thursday. I was expecting a lot of traffic on the road since it was Thanksgiving, but I guess everyone was where they wanted to be. The roads weren't crowded at all. I like pulling in to a gas station when no one is there. The credit card pumps stay on 24/7. We unloaded the rig and had some good leftover turkey and fixin's. Friday we winterized the MH. OK...Gin did it...I helped by holding the toilet flush open while she blew air though the lines with the air-compressor. We don't use the rv anti-freeze. It was a cold winter last year, but there was no problem. We leave a little ceramic space heater on low inside. I put the tire covers on and gave Wanda a hug. She'll sleep good knowing that this should be the last time we winterize her. Oh well, for the next 3 or 4 months, we'll be "all work and no play".
Thanks for dropping by, and enjoy each day of your life's journey by finding beauty in the ordinary.

Glad you made it back to NC safely. Where in NC is Clayton exactly?
Glad you girls got home safely. we have also winterized for the last time too.
Hope to see you on the road
Travel safe
Glad you got home safely.
Now just because Wanda is winterized, it doesn't mean you two are ;o) So please keep us up to date on what's going on from time to time.
Boy I just can't wait til April and we all get back together at the RALLY!!
Winter.......GRRRR. It was 26 degrees here this morning. WHAT?
Hope it's the last one for all of us. Wanda and Winona too.
Thinking April!
I hope we've winterized for the last winter, too. Wish we could keep the Journey next to our house but the HOA has no sense of humor. We have to use the RV antifreeze to make sure the water lines don't freeze, there is no electricity at our storage lot.
Make sure you stay out of trouble while Wanda is laid up! ;c)
We always hated winterizing the RV. Glad you don't have to do it again. 243 days to go!
