We got a nice early start in the rain leaving the park at 8:45am for our 370 mile trip. It was a steady rain for the first couple of hours and then it slowly cleared up. We pulled into the driveway at 4:30pm after making a couple of pit stops and a gas stop. We take it slow especially in the rainy mountains. After getting the essentials in the house, I washed a couple loads of clothes. I told Gin that the first trip to the laundromat would be the day we become official fulltimers. Tomorrow we'll do a few household things and then I'll work night shift this week end. Next week we plan to organize some things for a yard sale. It's all about getting rid of stuff. Craigslist awaits us also.
Thanks for dropping by, and enjoy each day of your life's journey by finding beauty in the ordinary.

Glad you two are home safe and sound:o)
We will be having a yard sale next weekend also.
Perhaps we can sell the house in the yard sale ?!?!?!
Glad you made it home safe and sound. Good luck with the yard sale. We'll see ya down the road :)
Glad to hear you made it home safely.
We need to get going on the craiglist thing as well.
It's sad to come home, but soon you'll always be home. :c)
We got home last night after sitting in lots of traffic around the DC area. And only $42 dollars in tolls, too. :c(
We're looking into an estate sale company that Mike and Terri told us about at the Rally. It looks like a good way for us to go.
Wow you guys are HARDCORE - out by 9AM and 370 miles in one day. WHEW, makes me tired just to hear about it.
We've resurfaced after 6 days boondocking in the smokies. Thought I'd post some blog entries about those days but I can skip Cades Cove now that I've seen your excellent coverage of it.
SO GOOD TO SEE YOU! We really were wishing you both were with us. Under 100 days...whoo hoo for you!
